INTEX is an international Pharma- and Diagnosticcompany which was set up in 1991 with headquarters in Switzerland and independent subsidiaries in other European countries, as Germany and Hungary. The company operates in two main business areas: human diagnostics and OTC products. The sales of INTEX products is guaranteed via the subsidiaries, as well as through an international distribution network.

Human diagnostics

The INTEX develops, produces and sells their own products. INTEX provides a wide range of laboratory diagnostic products from various areas, such as allergy, pregnancy, infectious disease, tumour marker diagnostics and drug identification tests. INTEX tests are used in hospitals, laboratories, doctor’s offices and pharmacies.

The research and development of INTEX Diagnostika is mainly focused on the field of in vitro diagnostics. The base for this product line is the patented and the "Rudolf-Eberle award" winning blister technology which saves large investments for devices but facilitates easy handling of high quality diagnostics.

OTC Products - Pharmazeutica

After our longterm cooperation with doctors offices and hospitals as well as our very good sales experience on the professional marked, we launched a new OTC product line for the sales in pharmacies. We are specialised on “life science” products such as drug identification tests as well as pregnancy diagnostic.

The know-how of the INTEX research and development team has led to the development of new innovative patented products. The company is managed with a long term vision, which together with successful international product management and a multinational sales team has lead to market success and new innovations.
