INTEX H. PYLORI TEST
The INTEX H. Pylori Test is a rapid visual test for the qualitative detection of antibodies specific to Helicobacter pylori (former Campylobacter pylori) in human serum, plasma or whole blood. This test kit is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of H. pylori infection for patients with gastrointestinal symptoms.
NTEX-NEO STREP A® PLUS TEST
The INTEX NEO Strep A® plus test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Strep A antigen from throat swab specimens to aid in the diagnosis of Group A Streptococcal infection.
Streptococcus of pyogenes is an immovable, grampositive bacterium, which is assigned to the Sero group of A according to Lancefield. This Streptococcal bacteria belonging to the group beta haemolysing bacteria, is the main cause of throat infections such as Tonsillitis, Pharyngitis and Scarlet. Furthermore they can cause heavy infections such as Endocarditis, Impetigo, Meningitis or Arthritis.
A rapid diagnosis and treatment of the infections caused by Streptococcal bacteria is necessary, so that the symptoms can be kept moderat, and possible complications such as rheumatic fever or peritonsillar abscesses cannot develop.
About 15% of the Pharyngitis cases with children between 3 months and 5 years are caused by beta-haemolysing Streptococcus of the group of A.
With school children and adults the incidence of throat infections by Streptococcus A lies at approximately 40%.
With the conventional methods the isolation and the proof of the Streptococcus A, usually takes 24-48 hours.
